Get Fast On Your Feet
How to maximize your sprinting power

Play the angle.
As you push off with your dominant leg, lean forward about 50 to 60 degrees. This low position will keep you as aerodynamic as possible at the start. Work into an upright position in the first 10 yards of your run.

Move your arms.
Start to bring your shoulders back. Keep your arms at about a 90-degree angle; pump them so your hands move from your hips to your chin. They shouldn't cross your body.

Stay straight and strong.
Keep your chest and shoulders still. Run with your upper body leaning slightly forward. This is the most efficient sprinting position.
